Speaking & Teaching: February/March 2015

Tonight I'm wrapping up the first "Intermediate HTML & CSS" class of the year for Girl Develop It (I'll likely be teaching another Beginning and Intermediate circuit sometime next quarter), but as of tomorrow, I'll also be joining forces with General Assembly!

Break Into UX

First, tomorrow night I'll be speaking on a panel at General Assembly called Break Into UX about, well, how to break into the UX industry (pretty self-explanatory). It will be held at GA's Seattle offices at WeWork in South Lake Union, and should be a great time.

Intro to Wireframing

Secondly, I'll be teaching Intro to Wireframing, an evening workshop at General Assembly on Wednesday, March 25. We'll start with sketching and something I like to call "reverse wireframing" to get the hang of the basics, then tackle learning Balsamiq, a wireframing tool, and you'll get build out a concept of your own.
